That superyacht time of year - May 2023
It is this time of the year that Auckland sees a number of super yachts looking to head off-shore. Which in turn sees us busy building superyacht fenders! Our customers often bring in an old fender and cover and ask if we can make more to the same specifications. If this is something we don’t have in stock, then custom making fenders and covers is what we do. It’s always fun making custom fenders and covers and dropping them off in time for a boats next big adventure!
Whitianga Marina Extension - April 2023
With the construction of the new F Pier at Whitianga Marina almost completed, it was our turn to head on down with our dock fenders to kit out the berths. We had been working closely with the guys at Whitianga Marina to make sure we had everything they needed for their berth holders, which included making several new sized fenders to ensure we could fit out berths with continuous fendering. Being involved at the early stages of a project always provides the best solution possible for berth holders, so we were stoked to be chosen by the good people of Whitianga Marina!
Tauranga Marina Sulphur Point Fenders - February 2023
Tauranga Marina have been busy upgrading their marina with the Poralu Marina System, which is an aluminium based modular system unlike any other marina in New Zealand. As such, we have developed and released the 'Tauranga Marina Fender' which is specifically designed to fit the Poralu system.
Waikawa Marina Extension - December 2022
The latest Waikawa Marina extension is opening this summer and is adding another 251 berths to the overall marina capacity. We have been working hard behind the scenes are a proud to announce that Hauraki Fenders have be chosen as the preferred fender supplier by Ports of Marlborough. Better still, we have teamed up with Waikawa locals, Hurricane Rigging, who are installing our Contoured Barrier Marina Fenders throughout the new extension. Contoured to fit around the marina rub strip, these fenders are the ideal solution to protect your boat while in its berth.
